PART TIME COURSE

An industry-recognised accredited course

Part-Time training at ACTT is different from short courses. We recognise that many people who are working, studying or have other life commitments cannot commit to a full time course. That’s why we have created a Part-Time version of our popular Certificate III in Theatre & Screen Performance course ‘The CORE’. Widely acknowledged as being more in-depth than many Advanced Diplomas on the market, this Certificate III course has been specially scheduled to fit around the needs of people who want to gain accreditation and undertake specialised training for a longer period than short courses offer.

The CORE: Acting and Performance

Certificate III in Theatre & Screen Performance

Offered two evenings per week and with occasional Saturdays of training this part-time course lasts 11 months and consists of 15 integrated modules in subjects including acting, screen acting, voice, movement, singing and dance. It also includes two stage performances. Although a Certificate III, this course goes much deeper and covers more ground than many of the Diploma courses available in Australia. You will cover 15 individual modules, each taken by a leading professional in their field as you consolidate an entire range of new skills and performance techniques. To apply for The CORE you must fill out an application form. As part of your application, we ask you to attend an acting workshop. To help you realise your goals, the workshop is designed to satisfy both you and ACTT that the course and you are a good match. No preparation is required. When you have returned the application form and the $55 application fee, you will be notified of the date and time of your workshop. The part-time option is not open to international students unless they are studying full-time in another institution (contact us to discuss).
