The panel will be joined by Sandy Verschoor CEO of the Adelaide Fringe Festival for what we think will be an interesting and inspiring conversation. Sandy will also be happy to talk to artists after the panel.

A program of performance art and live installation featuring: Scream with Ona Karaozbek, Rock n’ Roll n’ Reel by David Lucas, Flattering the Audience by Peter Whitehead and Colin Adams, Sans Everything- a Multi-lingual Shakespeare with Vincent Serrano, Reece Vella, Tiffany Stoecker, Lucia Gill, Yoni Slama and Grant Ryan, OVA with Goran Tomic, Witness in the Wall with Ben Storey and Jane Grimley, and Milanda de Mont.

In the Studio
Five playwrights with five new plays in development present key short scenes from each play in moved readings and open up for discussion. A short play that will become a full length piece by Drew Fairley, Featuring Crippled Kinsmen by Peter Maple, Casanova’s Duel by Andrew O’Connell, Belongings by Rebecca Clarke, and Kitty & Fifi & Jason Dale by Sean O’Riordan.

Grab a coffee and croissant from the bar and join Marilyn Gotlieb aka Anna Nigma and friends for some performance poetry: poets from the floor also welcome.

11.30am – 1.30pm Performance class in the theatre
A workshop for performers based on Phillipe Gaulier’s teaching of complicite, le jeu, and improvisation led by Liz Skitch of Friday night’s comedy programme

12pm – 1.30 pm in the studio -Life Drawing Class
Bring your pencils and paper and enjoy the experience of sketching one of Sydney’s most glamorous and successful burlesque artist, Sarina del Fuego accompanied by art teacher, Barry Dean.

1.30pm – 2pm LUNCH

2pm – 3.30pm Beginners acting class in the Studio
Discover the combination of fun and focus in an exhilarating class led by one of ACTT’s main teachers.

2pm – 3.30pm Final Theatre program of the Festival

An eclectic mix of song, movement and theatre featuring If Life Were a Song with Damien Noyce, Save the World with Ecopella, Christina Theirs, A Single Mans Story by Cameron Jennings, Blonde Ambition with Ash Bee, Ophelia Experience by Melissa Jones and Franticmuse, Stars in their eyes by Pat Brennan, and some interactive music with Tristan Haze and friends.

3.30pm – 4.30pm Get Your Creative Work OUT THERE
Get ahead by hearing tips from on marketing your work from Kevin Bathman Low budget, big impact ideas to inspire creative artists.

4pm – 6.30pm Closing Session in the Theatre
Grab a drink and sit back or jump up and dance to the sounds of three great groups:

*Urban Gypsies offer a beautiful, inspiring and feisty mix of fusion guitar compositions from the jazz tradition of improvisation and the rhythmic palette of Gypsy, Latin and World music. The creative writing skills and innovative sounds of the Urban Gypsies set them in a class all their own. Inspired by John Mclaughlin, Pat Metheny, Sylvain Luc and many more guitar greats, Urban Gypsies will take you on a unique and imaginative musical journey that will leave you wishing for more.

*Mean Feet Brass Band give us street band music – influenced by club dance acts like the Propellerheads, the Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers – as well as having a few nods to the New Orleans, Mardi Gras, roots of street band music.

*Vote For Mary The spirit that drives the band is experimentation and freedom of creativity. Vote for Mary believe that there is a straight line between being catchy & slick and between uplifting & strong… and that’s where they stand.
